Portable Services Joins Support of IronMan Augusta
It was an early foggy morning. The Portable Service crew were in the yard moving portable restrooms onto flatbeds. With over 100 restrooms to move, this was going to be a large task. On Thursday and Friday, Portable Services added support services to the 2019 Ironman Augusta 70.3.
All this work was in preparation for the 2019 IronMan Augusta 70.3. The Augusta race is 70.3 miles in length and starts with a swim down the Savannah River. Participants then ride a 51-mile bike race that winds through the backcountry of Augusta, Georgia, and finish with a run through Downtown Augusta.
The first setup was at the swim to run transition point at the Augusta Rowing Complex.
The rest of the toilets were placed on the race route in Downtown Augusta.
Portable Service is proud to be part of the support team for these dedicated athletes. Good Luck to everyone.
